Wichita police have arrested a 19-year-old man who was wanted for the shooting deaths of 2 men Friday night at a Dollar General store.   Marquis Marshall was arrested late Sunday afternoon in a traffic stop at 2nd and Erie, and he was booked into the Sedgwick County jail on 2 counts of first degree murder.

The shootings were reported shortly after 8 Friday evening at a Dollar General store at 13th and Oliver.  A store employee, 22-year-old Zackary Hunt, and a customer, 79-year-old Henry Harvey, were found shot to death at the front of the store.

Police lieutenant Scott Heimerman told reporters Monday that officers had been watching several locations where Marshall was known to be, and they saw a car leaving from one of the locations on Sunday.  The car was stopped, and Marshall was taken into custody.   Heimerman said Marshall was not armed.

Detectives are still unsure of the motive for the killings.  The deaths bring Wichita's homicide rate to 21 for the year.
