A cargo van with eight people inside was rear-ended on northbound I-135  between 101st and 125th Street in Sedgwick County.

It happened about 2:25 early Sunday morning about five miles North of Park City. Kansas Highway Patrol troopers said the cargo van driver was northbound on I-135 when it was either stopped in the lane of traffic or driving very slow. The driver of the semi attempted to stop, but was unable to avoid the cargo van and struck the vehicle from the rear. Troopers said four people from the van with Texas tags went to Via Christi hospital on St. Francis, while the semi driver was taken to Wesley Medical Center to be checked out for his injuries.
