Six Wildcat football players named first team All-Big 12
Kansas State received a lot of the biggest awards when the Big 12 coaches and media chose all-conference teams.
Wildback quarterback Collin Klein, a Heisman Trophy finalist, was named Offensive Player of the Year by both the coaches and media. Coach Bill Snyder was a unanimous pick as Coach of the Year.
Wichita linebacker Arthur Brown was named Defensive Player of the Year by the coaches and Meshak Williams was chosen as Defensive Lineman of the Year.
The Wildcats had six first-team selections, including center B.J. Finney of Andale, tight end Travis Tannahill and safety Ty Zimmerman. KSU also has five members on the second-team and eight player on the honorable mention squad.
