With just a few days until distribution of non-perishable food items begin, Interfaith Ministries is still in desperate need of donations.

So far, they have received 10 percent of the donation items needed and distribution of the items begins on December 13.

Interfaith Ministries is looking for non-perishable food items such as cereal, canned fruit, tuna, beans, vegetables, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, and soup. These items will go to help families who might have went hungry without the assistance from Interfaith Ministries.

If you wish to donate food items, you can drop them off at their distribution center, located at 2021 N Amidon or in boxes located at area Dillon's stores, Bank of America locations, Walmart stores, In the Bag Cleaners or at Wells Fargo bank.

Cash donations can be made online at www.InterFaithWichita.org.
