Shots fired, woman wounded

A woman is nursing a wound to her leg after a shooting in an apartment complex parking lot at 2744 south Seneca.
Wichita Police Sergeant Bruce Watts said two women were fighting in the Kingsborough Apartments parking lot Friday night when a man stepped up and put a gun to the head of one of the women. Then a second man arrived and shots were fired.
"There were some innocent bystanders' apartments that got some bullet holes in them. But no one was hurt in those apartments," said Watts.
The woman who was struck by a bullet in the shin was treated and released from Via Christi Hospital on Harry.
Watts said the 25 year old man who wounded the woman is being sought on a charge of aggravated battery.
