$25,000 in equipment taken in burglary
A peeled back garage door resulted in the theft of a welding machine and power tools overnight.
Police said a Snap-On roll away tool box was taken in the 300 block of South Wind Rows Lake Drive. "Its blue in color and its, 5 x 3 x 4 feet. So its a pretty particular design and in itself valued at $5,000." Wichita Police Sgt. Bart Brunsheen said. It was filled with approximately $15,000 worth of Snap-On hand tools. Police said also taken in the burglary was a blue Miller welder valued at $2,000, two Richardo leather seats valued at $1,000 each, along with multiple other power tools. The complete loss was valued at $25,000. Police ask anyone with information about the burglary to call 911.
