Police gathering information on robbery suspect
A 34-year-old man was arrested Friday for the robbery of a south Wichita gas station, and police are checking to see if he could be linked to at least seven other recent robberies.
The man was arrested in the 800 block of S. San Pablo. Wichita Police Lieutenant Joe Schroeder said police had a number of tips after surveillance photos were released. The photos were from the robbery of the D and T gas station near Lincoln and Woodlawn on Nov. 28.
Schroeder said detectives are also working to find out if there could be a second suspect involved in the robberies.
