Preliminary autopsy results show El Dorado woman froze to death
"Environmental exposure to cold " is listed as the cause of death for an El Dorado woman.
Beth Ann Noffsinger, 30, apparently ran from her 52-year-old fiance early Monday morning. He called 911, but authorities later found her body in a field near Leon.
Butler County Undersheriff Tony Wilhite said there is no sign of foul play or trauma to the body. He added "if under the influence of drugs and alcohol or both, don't go out into the cold weather unless you absolutely have to, because sometimes you don't realize exactly how cold it is."
So far, there have been no arrests. The preliminary autopsy results are in, but Wilhite said they're still waiting for the toxicology reports.
