SPEEA approves contract with Spirit Aerosystems
Members of the union that represents engineers at Spirit Aerosystems voted overwhelmingly to approve a new six-year labor contract.
They voted 92 percent in favor Tuesday evening. A total of 251 engineers cast votes.
The following is from the website of the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Education:
"Both the SPEEA WEU Negotiation Team and Bargaining Unit Council recommended approval of the contract which secures guaranteed minimum wage increases, reduced benefits costs and improved job security related to outsourcing."
