A man wearing a surgical mask robbed the Rose Hill State Bank at 2110 North Webb Road.

Wichita Police said the man did not threaten anyone with a gun, or even say whether he had one. The holdup took place shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday.

"He asked for some change for a twenty," said Lt. Sam Hanley. "As he was getting the change, he then asked for additional money and told one of the clerks that this was a robbery."

The man is described as a white male in his 40s or 50s, about 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-9, with a thin build and grey, curly hair.

Hanley said there were three customers and five or six employees in the bank at the time of the robbery. No one was hurt.
