Sedgwick County Human Services director retires
A 38-year employee of Sedgwick County is calling it a career.
Deborah Donaldson, Sedgwick County Division of Human Services director, retired Friday.
Donaldson started working for the county in 1974 as a psychologist with the Sedgwick County Department of Mental Health. She served in various positions, advancing to the role of director of COMCARE in 1993. In 1998, she became the director of the Sedgwick County Division of Human Services, which includes COMCARE, Department on Aging, Sedgwick County Developmental Disability Organization and the Sedgwick County Health Department.
