Wichita teenager dies after west side traffic accident
A teenage girl who was involved in a west Wichita traffic accident almost a week ago died of her injuries.
Victoria Tucker, 16, a student at Wichita North High School, died on Friday at Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis.
Police said Tucker pulled her car in front of a truck Monday, Dec. 10, at Maize Road and Carr, just south of the intersection of Kellogg and Maize Road. The truck hit the side of the girl's car, shattering the windows and sending it skidding into the curb.
