Dollar General Store suspect prelim postponed
A Wichita man will have to wait until next year for a preliminary hearing on capital murder charges.
A Sedgwick County District Court spokeswoman said 19-year-old Marquis Marshall was set to appear Tuesday, but his next scheduled court appearance is on April 4th of 2013. Marshall is held on a $5-million bond for the shooting deaths of 22-year-old Zackary Hunt and 79-year-old Henry Harvey at the Dollar General Store near 13th Street North and Oliver. He will be represented by an attorney from the state capital defense unit. So far, police do not have a motive for the shootings.
