Independence man dead after Montgomery County accident
An Independence, Kan. man is dead after his Ford Explorer flipped and caught on fire in Montgomery County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said David Beeson, 40, was driving north on 3900 County Road around 5:25 p.m. Saturday when his vehicle went into the ditch, hit a culvert and flipped onto its top. Soon after, the vehicle was in flames.
Beeson died in the wreck. The KHP did not know why his vehicle left the road.
