Barton County jail inmate dies
Authorities are investigating the death of a 37-year-old inmate at the Barton County Detention Facility in Great Bend.
Barton County Undersheriff Larry Holliday said the man was found dead in a one-man cell Friday evening.
The man's name was being withheld while relatives were notified. An autopsy was being conducted in Hays.
Holliday says the inmate had been booked into the facility on Nov. 15 on charges from Hoisington.
