City of Wichita announces holiday closures
Several city of Wichita facilities will be closed for the holidays.
Among the buildings closed for Dec. 25 are: City Hall and neighborhood city halls, Old Cowtown Museum, Watson Park, Century II administrative offices, CityArts, the Mid-America All-Indian Center, the animal shelter, city golf courses and park and recreation centers. The Wichita Transit system will not run.
The Wichita Art Museum, Great Plains Nature Center and the Riverside Tennis Center will be closed today and Dec. 25.

Botanica is closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It will reopen for regular hours Dec. 26 through Dec. 30, and Illuminations will run those days from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Botanica will be closed Dec. 31 to Jan. 6.
