American Heart Association looking for local artists
If you are a local artist and want to have your artwork recognized, here is your chance.
The American Heart Association is looking for pieces of art that convey the story of a survivor of heart disease or stroke, and demonstrates heart and soul in the work.
The pieces chosen will be used in various campaigns such as social media and on the AHA website.
Winners will have their works unveiled at the VIP Art and Wine Reception on Feb. 6 at CityArts. The art wll be auctioned off at the 19th Annual Wichita Heart Ball, held Feb. 16 at the Broadview Drury Plaza Hotel.
Auction proceeds will go to help the American Heart Association. If you are interested, call Kristin Ghere at (316) 265-4238 by Dec. 31.
