Robber uses meat cleaver in Christmas Eve robbery
A man wearing blue underwear over his face robbed the Johnson's General Store with a meat cleaver.
The robbery happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday near Seneca and McCormick.
Wichita Police said the man went in the store, armed with a meat cleaver, and demanded cash from the clerk. The robber left the store with cash and lottery tickets. The clerk working at the time was not injured.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned African-American man, around 30 years old, 5-feet-6-inches tall and was wearing a grey hoodie and dark coat.
