Woman dies after stabbing in northeast Wichita
A woman in her 20s is dead after a stabbing inside an apartment near 21st and Oliver late Thursday.
The stabbing was reported around 10:30 p.m. at the Shadybrook Senior Apartments, 4925 Shadybrook. The woman was taken to Wesley Medical Center with multiple stab wounds to the chest. She was pronounced dead there.
Police have released no information about a possible suspect in the incident. Several people were taken downtown for questioning.
