Wichita police investigating weekend stabbing
Wichita police are looking into a stabbing incident that was reported early Sunday in a south side neighborhood.
A 30-year-old man went to Via Christi Hospital on Harry around 2:30 a.m. with a stab wound to his right arm. He told doctors he was involved in a fight in the 1200 block of South Paige.
Lieutenant Doug Nolte said officers went to S. Paige, but they could not find an indication of a stabbing scene. Nolte said there was a language barrier that prevented officers from getting much information from the victim.
Nolte said anyone who may have witnessed the stabbing or has any knowledge of it should call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
