Kansas revenues ahead of projections
Halfway through the fiscal year, Kansas revenues are ahead of projections.
The state has outpaced projections by $32.7 million for the 2013 fiscal year.
Individual income revenue receipts came in at $27.2 million for December, 10 percent more than anticipated. All revenue receipts totaled about $30.2 million more for the month.
"While there is much work to do, we are pleased to begin the new year on a positive note with the Kansas economy showing steady signs of growth," said Revenue Secretary Nick Jordan.
