Hearing delayed for former Sedgwick County deputy
A hearing has been delayed again for a former Sedgwick County detention deputy who is facing charges of sexually assaulting inmates in the jail.
David Kendall was scheduled for a preliminary hearing Wednesday, but it was postponed to Jan. 23. He is accused of sexually assaulting six inmates in the jail between April and June of last year.
Kendall faces 12 charges, including felony aggravated criminal sodomy and misdemeanor sexual battery.
