Shots fired at north Wichita home
Police say four females, ranging in age from 3 to 33, escaped injury when shots were fired at their north Wichita home early Wednesday.
Wichita Police Lt. Doug Nolte said someone in the house saw a car speeding away after the shooting around 2:50 a.m. in the 600 block of North Green. That person was unable to give officers a good description of the car, and no one in the house could say why anyone would target the house.
Officers found shell casings in the street, and two shots struck the front of the house.
