Murder victim's car recovered, no suspects identified
Wichita police have not publicly identified any suspects in the shooting deat of a 29-year-old man whose body was found inside his home in the 700 block of South Rutan.
Adji Tampone's friends became concerned when they hadn't heard from him since New Year's Eve. They found his body around 2 a.m. Jan. 2. He had been shot to death.
Tampone's 2003 Cadillac Seville was found abandoned in the 1400 block of North Yale.
At a news conference Friday morning, Homicide Lt. Todd Ojile would not speculate on a possible motive for the homicide.
