Wichita police are looking for a man who attempted to rob the Auto Zone at Lincoln and Oliver late Friday night.

Sergeant Jim Pinegar said a clerk, who was working late inside the store, went to answer a knock at the door. When the clerk got to the door, he spotted a gun sticking out of the suspect's hoodie.

The suspect tried to open the door, but was unsuccessful, while the employee took off for the back of the store.

The employee describes the suspect as wearing black clothes, a hoodie and bandana at the time of the incident. Police said the suspect left the store in a black four-door sedan.

There were no injuries or loss to the business. The store was closed at the time of the incident.
