Comcare gets grant for Community Crisis Center
Comcare's Community Crisis Center is one step closer after a grant from the Kansas Health Foundation.
Comcare received $21,248 to support planning activities for the center, designated to be a "one-stop shop" for those with behavioral health issues. Funding will help development and contracting a business plan for the facility.
"This plan to centralize our community crisis services is something we have been working on for several years, and we're thrilled this funding can get us closer to completing the planning process and to the day when this new center can become a reality for our community," said Marilyn Cook, Comcare executive director.
