Dispute over video game causes teen to pull a knife on brother
Police were called to a home in the 3800 block of east Ross Parkway early Sunday morning after a dispute between two brothers who were playing a video game.
"Apparently during the play of the video game, the 15-year-old got very upset. He pulled out a knife and held it to his brother's throat," said Wichita Police Sgt. Bart Brunscheen.
The teen also threatened to cut off his 20-year-old brother's genitals during the dispute.
There were no injuries. Police do not know which video game instigated the incident.
Brunscheen said the teenager was taken into custody for aggravated assault and criminal threats. Both parents were at home when the incident happened.
