Gunman robs east Wichita business
Wichita Police are looking for a gunman who took cash from an east Wichita business Sunday evening. The robbery happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. at a Family Dollar store at 2201 East Central.
Lieutenant Doug Nolte said a man walked in and pointed a gun at two clerks - a 49-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman. They gave the man cash from the registers, and he ran away from the store. He was described as an African-American man wearing eyeglasses, with a black ski mask and black clothing.
No one was hurt.
