Police are investigating a mysterious shooting incident in a southeast Wichita neighborhood.  A 32-year-old woman saw a car turn into a parking lot across from her house in the 7100 block of East Castle around 9:15 Wednesday night.   She then saw 2 men run from the car and she stepped outside to see bullet holes in the car.

Lieutenant Doug Nolte said officers found at least 14 shell casings from a large-caliber weapon around the car.   Officers learned that the car belongs to a 20-year-old woman who said she had loaned it to her 19-year-old boyfriend.  Police have been looking for the boyfriend to find out what happened.

Nolte said there's no word of any injuries.  Anyone who may have information on the shooting should call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
