A man threw a rock through the front glass door of an east Wichita bank and robbed the business.

It happened at about 6:05 p.m. at the Fidelity Bank at 7711 East Harry. Police say the man walked in and demanded money from the tellers. He left on foot carrying cash drawers full of money. No one was hurt and there was no word of a weapon being used, aside from the rock.

The man is described as African-American, about 5-foot-9 to 6-feet-tall and about 200 to 220 pounds. He had facial hair and some skin discoloration on his hands. Witnesses said he was wearing a gray stocking hat and a flannel jacket.
