Apartment fire likely case of arson, investigator says
A fire investigator believes a blaze in a small four-plex apartment building was caused by a squatter who had been staying in the condemned building.
The fire in the 1400 block of North Kansas was reported late Tuesday afternoon. The building was already slated for demolition. There were no injuries.
Officials think the fire was intentionally set.
