Intruders fire shotgun in north Wichita home
Wichita Police are looking for a person of interest after a home invasion incident in north Wichita late Wednesday night. Lieutenant Joe Schroeder said two men forced their way into a home in the 1000 block of North Indiana shortly after 10 p.m., and one of them fired a shotgun.
A 26-year-old woman, her 29-year-old boyfriend and their two children, ages 2 and 4, were in the home at the time, but they were not hit. Schroeder said the men then left, and nothing was taken from the home.
Schroeder said one of the suspects was identified, and police are looking for him. It's not known what the motive was for the attack.
