County official placed on administrative leave
The director of human resources for Sedgwick County has been placed on paid administrative leave.
The Wichita Eagle reports that Shawne Boyd was placed on leave for personnel matters on Jan. 2. Boyd's superior, County Manager Bill Buchanon, would not comment directly on the reason for the action.
The human resources department oversees hiring and employee development for the county.
