Augusta garage fire still under investigation
Augusta's Department of Public Safety is still looking into what sparked a Sunday evening garage fire.
Damage was estimated at $65,000 to the garage in the 100 block of East Broadway in Augusta. The home received minimal damage. No one was hurt.
Smoke from the scene was visible from Wichita. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes, but dry conditions kept firefighters busy with brush fires late Sunday night.
