Human remains identified in Cowley County
The Cowley County sheriff's office identified the human remains found over the weekend in a rural area northwest of Winfield. The remains belong to 37-year-old Corbin Wilt, who was reported missing from his Winfield home last May.
Cowley County Undersheriff Bill Mueller said there is no indication of foul play at this time, but investigators are still looking into the circumstances of Wilt's disappearance. There's no word on the cause of death.
