Police now have 4 in custody in Wichita murder investigation
Wichita police now have four men in custody as the investigation continues into the discovery of a body near a north side construction site.
The body of 34-year-old Shawn Lindsey was found Jan. 16 near K-96 and Hillside, where the Heartland Preparedness Center is under construction. Police said the body apparently had been dragged into a wooded area.
Lindsey's girlfriend reported him missing the previous weekend. There is no word on the cause of death. The four men were booked into jail on suspicion of first degree murder.
