Burglars steal electronics from east Wichita Target store
Two men wearing ski masks broke through two front glass doors at the Target store next to Towne East Square and stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics.
The break-in was reported around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday at 301 South Towne East Mall Drive.
It could be difficult to identify suspects in the case, even with surveillance video evidence.
"These are two males, unknown race," said Police Lt. Doug Nolte. "Both are estimated at being approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-foot."
The men were also wearing gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints.
The store lost several iPods, iPads, laptop computers and digital cameras. The exact loss was not immediately calculated. The men took off through the northeast emergency door of the store.
