Thieves unsuccessful in Z Wireless burglary
The latest in a string of break-ins at Z Wireless stores took place early Wednesday morning at Maple and Maize Road.
Police say at least two people broke through the glass front door of the store and tried to steal a television that was mounted on a wall. They failed and left out the back door. The thieves broke in at around 3:55 a.m.
Other Z Wireless stores have lost cell phones and other small electronics in burglaries. There are three locations in Wichita: 10410 West Maple, 601 South Greenwich Road and 1133 South Rock Road.
