Sedgwick County Judge Gregory Waller sentenced a Kansas City, Kan. woman to prison for life without possiblity of parole for 25 years for driving her young daughters for the purpose of allowing a man have sex with them.

At the rape and aggravated human trafficking trial of 49-year-old James Brown, the mother testified that she sat in an east Wichita motel room and watched her girls have sex with Brown.

Waller sentenced Brown to life without possibility of parole after he was found guilty of 17 felonies. The mother pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated human trafficking. KFDI is not using the woman's name in an effort to protect the identities of the victims.

The mother's stiff sentence is mandated under Jessica's Law, which is designed to protect potential victims and reduce a sexual offender's ability to re-offend. The law was named for Jessica Lunsford, a young Florida girl who was sexually battered and murdered in 2005 by a previously convicted sex offender.
