Man stabbed with piece of wood in west Wichita
A 34-year-old man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed with a piece of wood.
It happened in the 300 block of north Edwards around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Wichita Police Sgt. Ken Kimble said a fight broke out in the home, and the victim was stabbed. Kimble said three shots were also fired, but nobody was struck.
Kimble said the victim received several puncture wounds, but should make a full recovery.
