Wichita BOE approves property purchase for Riverside
The Wichita Public Schools Board of Education approved the purchase of property it can use to expand Riverside Leadership Magnet Elementary School.
Riverside is located at 1001 N. Porter. The district agreed to the price of $82,500 for the property at 1033 N. Porter. The costs include state-mandated relocation benefits and closing costs.
The bond proposal passed for the district in 2008 included a new library and classrooms for the school.
