Man, woman rob landlord showing property
A landlord showing property to what he thought were interested tenants was robbed by them.
The man was showing the property to a man and woman in the 500 block of S. Edwards at around 5 p.m. on Monday.
"They asked to see the apartment, and after showing the apartment, the male pulled out a small, black handgun, pointed it at him, and demanded his money and cell phone," said Wichita Police Lt. Joe Schroeder. "He was tied with zip ties with his hands behind his back by the white female."
The suspects were believed to be in their late 20s. They left in a blue SUV.
The landlord was not hurt.
