Wichita police have booked three 16-year-old boys into jail on first degree murder charges for a fatal shooting Tuesday night at a northside home.

A 26-year-old man was found by a family friend in a home in the 1700 block of East 23rd Street North.   The victim was found around 8:30 p.m. in a back bedroom with several gunshot wounds to his abdomen. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Lieutenant Doug Nolte said two children, a 1-year-old boy and a 6-month-old girl, were found in the home in another bedroom, but they were not hurt.

Police questioned and then booked three teenage boys into jail. A man in his 20s was arrested on a warrant not related to the case.
