Police looking for man who robbed a Wichita Walmart store
Wichita police are looking for a man who took cash from a Walmart Neighborhood Market store in the southeast part of the city. The man walked into the store near Harry and Webb Road around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and told a clerk he had a gun.
Lieutenant Doug Nolte said the gunman took cash from an open register and left. He was last seen getting into a vehicle that was believed to be a white Dodge Durango, and it was seen going south on Webb Road.
No one was hurt. The robber was described as an African-American man around 6-feet tall and 170 pounds, wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt a bandana over his face and tan pants.
