Three Wichita men remain hospitalized after weather crash in Harvey County.
It happened about 6:26 Wednesday morning in the northbound lanes of I-135 and the First Street Exit ramp in Newton. A Sheriff's Office investigator said 26 year-old Stephen Atterbery of Wichita, driving a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup slid into the guardrail in the median.

Atterbery was taken by ambulance in critical condition to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis. His current condition is not known. A passenger, 22 year-old Joel Miller of Albany, Georgia, was not hurt.
The passenger in the Silverado, 29 year-old Derek Bowers of Wichita, was taken to Newton Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. Shelton is listed in fair condition at Wesley Medical Center.
The Harvey County Sheriff's Office, The Kansas Highway Patrol, The Newton Police Department and Newton Fire/EMS responded to the scene. The accident is still under investigation.
