Director of Human Resources for Sedgwick County resigns
The director of human resources for Sedgwick County, Shawne Boyd, has resigned. Boyd had worked for the county since September 2010.
The Wichita Eagle reports Boyd resigned Thursday after being placed on paid administrative leave Jan. 2.
Sedgwick County Manager Bill Buchanan has not commented on what led up to Boyd being placed on leave, but did say that Gary Counts would continue to serve as interim director until a replacement is found.
