Man arrested for setting dumpsters on fire
Wichita police have a man in custody this morning for igniting a series of dumpster fires downtown.
The fires happened within minutes of each other in an area from Broadway to Main and Douglas to Third Street.
Five different fire crews contained the six fires to the dumpsters.
Fire officials said one building in the 200 block of north Broadway received cosmetic damage.
An investigation into what the man used to start the fires is still ongoing.
