Convicted sex offender captured in Wichita
A man who failed to register as a sex offender was taken into custody Thursday at a home on East Kinkaid in Wichita.
Kameryn Whiteside, 20, was convicted in Sedgwick County in 2005 of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Police have been keeping an eye out for him at least since November, when Whiteside was profiled on Crime Stoppers.
