Wife stabbed by husband in Goddard
Goddard police received a 911 call reporting an attempted suicide around 5:00 p.m. Friday.
When police arrived, they found woman stabbed several times in the leg, torso and neck. One of the woman's children had made the 911 call.
The woman's husband, a 28-year-old who lives in Haysville, turned himself in to Haysville police. He was booked into jail for attempted first-degree murder. Authorities believe an argument escalated and led to the stabbing.
The woman, also 28, was taken to a hospital for surgery. Her children are staying with their grandparents.
