Highway renaming complaints prompt KDOT apology
The Kansas Department of Transportation says it regrets the problems caused when it changed the names of some highways in Kingman and Reno Counties.
Emergency managers said the changes could create delays in responding to calls. KDOT issued a full apology on Facebook.
The agency announced that no official renaming will go into effect until new signs are in place.
